Day 19: grateful for the invite. In 2012, my pastor, Kevin Meyer, invited me to join our church wellness team. It was an answered prayer and gentle push to do what God had already put on my heart. Over the years, that invite has pushed me and grown me and led me into relationships and experiences that have changed my life and challenged me in amazing ways. Today I had the joy of sharing about one of those...Team Perseverance - the faith focused run/walk program that I co-lead at our church. The focus was on living an invitational life and how this group has been an example of that. This definitely has my wheels turning and excitement flowing for our 5th training season that stars next spring. Pretty sure God is going to blow my mind as He so often does. Ok guys - I need a good workout program rec. I am doing bbg which I love, but I’m getting to the point where I will likely get evicted if I keep going because I live on the second floor and there is alllll jumping and burpees.
I run 2-3 days a week and also spin so I’d really like something that involves weights / dumbbells for strength training. Throw them at me!

The last day of our weekend getaway! i won’t lie, tomorrow morning will be very bitter sweet leaving! I’m going to miss them sooo much, but i’m going to be so glad to finally be back home in my safety zone!😂
This wknd has shown how badly I really want my goals, and am dedicated to reaching them; at the same time also showed my ability for balance and boundaries. I’ve stuck to my course of action and feel like such a beast 💪🏽!
#c25kweek4 day 2 was SMASHED today!! We all four went to the gym and I did my day 2 of the program. This definitely was the day that I’ve felt the BEST while #running ! I was super happy to see how my body responded to running today, after yesterday’s rest day ☺️.
