Pretty fog this morning...so I've been wondering what everyone thinks of intermittent fasting, does anyone do it? I've been doing it all my life just because I hate eating anything before about 11am, it grosses me out, but apparently there are a ton of health benefits to IF. After my 18 hour fast, almost forgot to eat, decided to whip up something really quick , this 90 seconds bread is amazing with only 2.7 net carb. Top with anything you like☺
1 tablespoon salted butter, melted and slightly cooled
3 tablespoon Almond flour
¼ teaspoon baking powder
In a small microwave safe bowl ( I used a wide short mug), use a fork to mix the ingredients together until very smooth.Microwave on high for 90 seconds. Bread will puff up while "baking," then deflate. When done, it will look like a muffin. Make sure it appears set, otherwise microwave 30 more seconds (but 90 seconds should be enough, and overcooking can dry it up).Gently, with a small knife, loosen the bread edges and remove from the bowl onto a plate. Slice the 90 second bread crosswise into two slices and top with your favorite toppings.
* I used 1tsp of butter and fry in a pan, to get that golden touch on the outside
