Dinner with old friends - college teammates! - and, no surprise, we all ordered the same thing 👯👯 (*except I opted for salad over fries) Unrelated side note: I love the light fixtures here! ·

Diving into this fall YOGURT + ROASTED BUTTERNUT SQUASH bowl like 🏊♀️
I roasted up the butternut squash earlier this week so that I’d have something easier to throw together before work one day. Buying the squash already diced up made it even easier, which I’m all about. 🙌
WHAT WENT DOWN:
• @kitehillfoods plain almond milk yogurt
• roasted butternut squash (I patted the squash dry, seasoned them with cinnamon, pink salt, a little cumin, + @chosenfoods coconut oil spray and then baked them at 400 for 30-40 min - keep an eye on ‘em 👀)
• @micheles_granola cinnamon raisin granola CHUUUUNKS
• a small wading pool of @wild_friends gingerbread PB (this seasonal flavor is now back in stock, y’all! 🤗)
• not pictured: a piece of @canyonglutenfree toast for dippin’ in this goodness
I hope you all have the best pre-Friday, sweet peas! ❤️
When we change the way we talk, we change the way we feel.
Do you ever stop and listen to how you talk to yourself? I realize that most of the time you are not literally talking out loud to yourself, but we are constantly practicing self-talk either we know it or not. So what are you saying to yourself?
Are you treating yourself kindly, or do you verbally beat yourself up?
Do you tell yourself you CAN do something or you can’t?
Your body is hearing it all. So celebrate the victories whether big or small and practice positive talk.
The same goes with how we talk to others. We’ve all heard the expression, if you can’t say something nice don’t say anything at all. When you start tuning out the negativity and stop talking negatively, a strange thing happens.... You begin to breed positivity..
And couldn’t we all use more of that?
